THE SKETCH

SUPERMAN ADVENTURES#30 My original idea was to show the graves from the back, keeping the identities of the dead, more of a mystery. Teasing the reader, and getting them to read the story to see who's who's superman is grieving for. This is the final version showing the graves of Superman's Earth parents, the Kents. I also like the shapes the blacks on the head stones make in the composition, better in the original sketch. Click the drawing, to see the full size versions of the original cover sketches.
